The following notice contains important information regarding openings for elective offices within the Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative School District.

PUBLIC NOTICE
WILTON/LYNDEBOROUGH COOPERATIVE SCHOOL DISTRICT

Candidates for School District Office shall file their declaration of candidacy with Meaghan Polson at the office of the superintendent no earlier than January 20, 2010 or later than 4:00 p.m. on January 29, 2010. The following officers to be elected are:

One (1) School Board Member (Lyndeborough) with 1-year term ending in 2011
One (1) School Board Member (Lyndeborough) with 2-year term ending in 2012
One (1) School Board Member (Wilton) with 1-year term ending in 2011
Two (2) School Board Members (Wilton) with 2-year terms ending in 2012
Two (2) School Board Members (Wilton) with 3-year terms ending in 2013
One (1) At Large - Lyndeborough Resident with 1-year term ending in 2011
One (1) At Large - Lyndeborough Resident with 3-year term ending in 2013

One (1) School District Moderator for 1 year

One (1) Budget Committee Member (Lyndeborough) with 1-year term ending in 2011
One (1) Budget Committee Member (Lyndeborough) with 2-year term ending in 2012
One (1) Budget Committee Member (Wilton) with 1-year term ending in 2011
Two (2) Budget Committee Members (Wilton) with 2-year terms ending in 2012
Two (2) Budget Committee Members (Wilton) with 3-year terms ending in 2013
One (1) At Large - Lyndeborough Resident with 1-year term ending in 2011
One (1) At Large - Lyndeborough Resident with 3-year term ending in 2013

Petition warrant articles must be submitted to the School Board or one of its members or at the Superintendent's office by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Such articles must be signed by at least 25 registered voters.

District Meeting will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wilton/Lyndeborough Cooperative School cafeteria in Wilton, NH. (Snow Date: Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 9:00 a.m.)

Voting for School District Officers will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wilton Town Hall and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lyndeborough Town Hall.
