Former WLC Students Help Celebrate "College is Possible" Week
As part of "College is Possible Month", James and Kimberly Edmunds, WLC Class of 2014, returned to WLC to share their college experiences with our current students. Both James and Kimberly attend Plymouth State University. They answered questions about college life, transitioning from a small school to a larger community, how to balance academics and activities, and the importance of having strong grades in high school to open opportunities at the college level. Throwing candy to the audience and answering questions candidly, both James and Kimberly helped ease students' fears and encouraged them to work hard now so they have many choices available to them in the future.
