Recently, WLC's 6th grade students ventured to Ecology School in Poland, Maine for a week of learning. Students studied ecosystems by exploring the forest, tide pools, and grassy areas. They collected and recorded data about scientific questions and enjoyed living in a beautiful Inn.
6th grader Eric Byrne explained, "It was fun to learn outside and be active and use all the scientific gear." Colby Collins added, "When we were between activites it was fun too. The instructors were great -- some played games with us and the place was just fun." All were glad they had this learning opporutnity.
