As we all adjust to our “new normal,” the Center for College Planning has been working hard to continue to offer their services our students and families. In the next few days, they will be adding a new remote learning resources page to their website. This page features links to recorded presentations including Applying to College, Paying for College (the financial award letter presentation), The Write Stuff (tips for writing the college essay and resume), and Financial Aid Basics for families to view. There are links to many resources for parents and students (broken down by grade level) including the College and Financial Aid Insiders, the Athletic Guide, college planning timelines, and early college planning resources.
As always, if families have questions about applying to or paying for college, our NHHEA counselors are available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 888.747.2382 x119. They are also able to schedule individual Zoom appointments with families to file the FAFSA, help with financial aid award letters and funding options, and after May 1st we will begin to “meet” with high school juniors to help with their college planning. Families can call to schedule an appointment anytime.
