According to the National Association of School Nurses, School Nurses improve attendance through health promotion, disease prevention and disease management. Schools with a full-time school nurse have about half the student illness- or injury-related early releases from school where no school nurse is present. School nurses also help improve attendance for students. This means that there are healthy students in the classroom ready to learn.  In short, School Nurses enable better performance in schools!
