5th Grade

Welcome to my page. I am a recent graduate of Keene State College about to embark on my first year of teaching. I am very excited to bring a fresh perspective on education to my fifth grade class this year.

My philosophy is that when you strip down the goals of teaching you are left with one very important goal, to foster a love of learning. A love of learning pushes students to think deeper, ask important questions, and try again when they experience failure. It is my job to create an environment full of diverse opportunities where students are eager to take risks and learn from them.

Our fifth grade mission is to become a community of independent learners who accept responsibility for our own actions and learning. We are committed to meeting and exceeding academic expectations through perseverance. We will show respect to ourselves and one another, appreciate individual differences, and encourage each other to become their personal best.
