Second Grade Teacher

Thank you for visiting my page.  This is my third year teaching at FRES and I love it!  Teaching is my second career as I believe in making a difference in the lives of children.  I don’t say that I am going to work in the morning, I say I am going to school!

I strive to bring enthusiasm, empathy and excitement to my classroom.  I believe in empowering children for their future.  A child’s learning experience should be hands-on and practical.  School should be an engaging and a safe environment where children can for fill their potential; as well as build life skills.

The Second Grade Team’s Vision Statement is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where students will feel empowered to take risks, speak freely, become productive member of their community and become independent thinkers.  In addition, students will continue to build on their fundamental skills in all academic areas.
