ABA Therapist/Leave Coverage (2019/2020)

Coverages needed approximately 8/26/19- 11/26/19
1.0 ABA therapist (7 hours/day) to cover maternity leave from start of school year - Thanksgiving with potential of continuing as ABA therapist post maternity leave in RISE program for preschool, PreK and K students diagnosed with Autism and/or related disabilities.
Daily job responsibilities include implementation of a wide variety of applied behavior analysis (ABA) teaching techniques including but not limited to incidental/naturalistic teaching, verbal behavior, discrete trial teaching, task analysis, positive behavior management and daily data collection. Therapist would be responsible for working with students in both inclusion and sub separate settings in both small group and 1:1 ratio. Therapist would be responsible for set up and organization of student’s data sheets, related materials and school-home communication logs.
Therapist reports to BCBA, Building Principal and Director of Student Support Services. Experience with students in public school setting, experience with students with Autism and/or experience with ABA or RBT certification preferred. Food Service Worker
Our district is seeking interested candidates for our food service program. School year, Part time position. Unique opportunity for an individual to be involved in school food service operations for a small commitment of hours.
School kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Experience with Meal Time Point of Sale hosted application is a plus. Driver’s license and reliable transportation required as this person may deliver product between schools.
Tasks and Duties include the following
- Completed food service tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager
- Serve over 700 breakfasts and 1,500 lunches per month
- Adhere to the USDA Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act
- Comply with required USDA professional development hours on an annual basis. Currently 6 hours are required.
- Attend regular meetings with district food service director
- Complete food safety in school training
- Adhere to the standard operating procedures based on the HACCP guidelines
- Maintain skills by using best practices. Make recommendations to management accordingly
- Ability to lift carry and store etc.
