iReady Diagnostic
iReady Reading and Math diagnostic assessments are given three times a year to students in grades K-10. This is an adaptive assessment, meaning that the test adjusts based on how many questions a student answers correctly or incorrectly. iReady determines which reading and math skills a student is proficient in, and which reading and math skills a student is ready to learn next. After each assessment window, results are sent home to families. These results can be complicated to interpret. Please use this guide to support your understanding, and of course, reach out to your student's teacher if you have any additional questions. During this time, staff analyze the data received from the iReady diagnostic and develop action plans to support each student in mastering the deficit skills for that individual student. Diagnostic results are also shared through data presentations at school board meetings.
Use the links below to access the iReady website and the Family Center to learn more about iReady and how you can support its usage at home.

MyPath
iReady has a personalized instruction component, MyPath. This uses the results from the students diagnostic assessment to develop lessons for each individual student. These lessons are available to students who are working on skills from Kindergarten through 8th grade in both reading and math. Students are encouraged within their classrooms to use this as a tool to support their learning.
