• LIBRARY

The WLC Library Media Center is at the heart of WLC -- literally at the cross roads of the school.  The purpose of the Library is to guide students to be active seekers of knowledge, users of information, and life-long learners.  An appreciation of literature is also at the core of what we do.

Materials in the library are chosen to stimulate curiosity and enable students to become self-directed learners.  The Librarian works with classroom teachers to teach skills to find, evaluate and use information and integrate technology and information literacy throughout the curriculum.

Please feel free to ask Mrs. Wiley for help with anything! Email her any time at m.wiley@sau63.org.

Circulation Policies

    • Students may check out library books for two weeks. A book may be renewed if no one else has requested the book. Please be sure to check out books at the circulation desk before leaving the library.
    • While the library does not fine students for overdue books, lost or damaged books will result in a bill to recover the replacement cost of the book.
    • Teachers can put books on reserve at the circulation desk for in library use only.
    • Current issues of periodicals do not circulate. They must stay in the library.
